John Ward, graduate of Ripley Union Lewis High School, was invited to speak to students on his art career and how it has shaped his life. John's presentation was well attended and students were engaged. In addition, the RULH multimedia program interviewed John.

I from My. Sterling although one of my older brother got married and lived in aberdeen for a few months. Before moving to Ripley for over 20yrs. That is where I would spend my summer vacation down and the boat dock or along the coves and on the Ohio river fishing. The evenings we watch the sun set over the river. Playing basketball at the park was mainly on the weekends. Your pictures are wonderful, I see kentucky when I look at your work. I wonder what you find on the banks of the Ohio. I would love to learn from a professional artist. I have been trying woodworking and have made things, although the drawing, artwork is the eye catcher. I need that.
