Landscape Commissions

Kentucky artist John L. Ward creates commissioned art for public and private collections. In addition to animal portraits, many individual commission requests include home renderings and family farms.

John welcomes commission requests. Price is dependent on size, medium, and subject matter. We require a 50% deposit, and the balance is due once the picture is completed. Once John has been provided with quality, clear photos, he will have an initial discussion with the buyer to understand content and layout. John will provide an initial pencil sketch which edits can be made at that time. Following approval of the initial sketch, the final artwork will be created.

Please note, if the original art is shipped, insurance and shipping is the buyer's responsibility. We prefer the original be directly presented to the buy to prevent any shipping issues, damage, etc., but we are happy to ship.
