The chair he painted tied into the state quarter design featuring My Old Kentucky Home, horse scenes, and the Kentucky state quarter mounted in the top slat. I remember my Dad taking the chair with us to paint while on vacation and painting it during the evenings. I've searched for this chair several times through the years without success. The chair went up for sell at a local estate auction last week. After 18 years, I'm excited to say the chair found its way back home and is now in my possession! A treasured family heirloom!
